Hi, I’m Amanda! I acquired this successful business formerly known as Little Green Llama in December 2024. Rachelle Hill founded this business, and I am so excited to continue on in the Kemptville area. Thrifting, recycling, and homemaking are some of my favourite things, so it seemed like a natural fit! During the day, you can find me at my full-time job as a Construction Office Manager/Executive Assistant. In my free time, I am a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Leeds & Grenville, I love to bake, sew & craft, and I am the sole organizer of a bi-annual yard-sale style event for craft supplies in Kemptville.
I am thrilled to help local parents have the ability to provide their children with quality items to aid them in their development, regardless of their socio-economic status. By investing in quality items that last, we are able to meet this need by creating a circular economy. A circular economy created by renting, repairing and recycling items not only makes these items more affordable for use, but it also has the capacity to divert a great deal of waste from landfills. Exciting isn’t it?
Jola Baby Gear Rentals is a small business serving Eastern Ontario. We provide pick up in Kemptville, Ontario, by appointment only. We are building this business and appreciate any feedback that you may have about the service as well as suggestions for expanding our inventory.

What is JOLA?
Jola – Joan + Ila. Jola Baby Gear Rentals is named after two very influential women in my life. My grandmothers both passed away far too young, and I decided to name this business in their honour. It’s also in their memory that I strive to do something better for the world every day.

Sustainability
Diverting baby items from landfill sites by investing in quality equipment which can be reused by several babies. Where possible we prefer to invest in items made from more sustainable sources such as wood, so that they can be reused, recycled or composted at the end of their life-cycle.
